Community Vision and Council Plan

Mount Alexander Shire Council is asking our community what it cares about to inform big picture direction, budget and spending over the next four years.
The Community Vision sets a 10-year statement of what matters and where we want to be. And every four years, each new Council sets its plan for how it will deliver on this vision. Both are underway now, and you are invited to contribute via the Shape Mount Alexander platform, or a range of in person events.
This year the Council is also reviewing its Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, which details how Council will protect and improve community health. The MPHWP must align with the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2023-2027 which focusses on ten priority areas including improving sexual and reproductive health, reducing harm from tobacco and e-cigarette use, and preventing all forms of violence.
